Bij het bestuderen van kosmologie kwam ik hetvolgende tegen:

\( \frac{Df}{Dt} = \frac{\partial f}{\partial t} + \frac{\vec{p}\cdot \nabla f}{m} - m \nabla \Phi . \cdot \frac{\partial f}{\partial \vec{p}}\)
where we have used the particle equation of motion
\( \frac{d\vec{p}}{dt} = - m \nabla \Phi \)
\( f(\vec{x}, \vec{p}, t)\)
is de eendeeltjesfaseruimtedichtheid.
Ik vroeg mij af wat die D/Dt juist wil zeggen. Wat is het verschil met d/dt?
