De gammafunctie is een uitbreiding van de faculteitsfunctie voor niet gehele getallen:

\( \int^x_0 u^{x-1} e^{-u} du \)
In mijn boek staat dat het eenvoudig is om na te rekenen dat T(1) = 1.
Ziet iemand in dat dit zo is ?
Ik bereken dit nl. als volgt:
T(1) =
\( \int^1_0 e^{-u} du \)
= [-e-u]10 = 1 - (1/e)
En dit is toch niet gelijk aan 1 ? Ziet iemand wat ik fout doe ?

Als men met 'oo' werkt i.p.v. 'x' voor de integraal dan klopt het natuurlijk wel.
