(a) Two light bulbs are chosen from the box. Calculate the chance that both are defect.
12 light bulbs: (4 defect) (8 not defect)
P (Beide defect) (4 ncr 2) * (8 ncr 0) / (12 ncr 2)
(b) Four light bulbs are chosen from the box. Calculate the chance that exactly two of them are defect.
P (Two out of four are defect) (4 ncr 2) * (8 ncr 2) / (12 ncr 4)

Deze snap ik dus niet.
(d) Now assume that another box contains 24 light bulbs, four of which are defect. Four light bulbs are chosen from this box. What is the chance of exactly one defect bulb?
24 light bulbs: (4 defect) (20 not defect)
P (Exactly one defect bulb) (4 ncr 1) * ( 20 ncr 3) / (24 ncr 4)
Ik heb er alleen mijn berekeningen bijgedaan, zonder antwoord.
En c snap ik dus al helemaal niet. Heb wel een idee, maar ik kom er niet uit.
