Ik vraag me af welke ribosomen welke stoffen synthetiseren.

Je hebt namelijk ribosomen op het endoplasmatisch reticulum, ribosomen vrij in het cytosol, ribosomen in de mitochondriën en in de chloroplasten.

Ik weet dat ribosomen op het ruw endoplasmatisch reticulum stoffen synthetiseren die de cel moeten verlaten.

maar hoe zit het met rest?

Ribosomen zorgen voor eiwitsynthese, ongeacht waar in de cel ze zich bevinden.

Free and membrane-bound ribosomes differ only in their spatial distribution; they are identical in structure. Whether the ribosome exists in a free or membrane-bound state depends on the presence of an ER-targeting signal sequence on the protein being synthesized, so an individual ribosome might be membrane-bound when it is making one protein, but free in the cytosol when it makes another protein.
