Volgende maand begint de Duitse projectontwikkelaar Solar Millenium met de bouw van de grootste zonthermische krachtcentrale ter wereld. Wanneer die klaar is zal hij jaarlijks circa 2.200 GW aan elektriciteit leveren, wat een verminderde uitstoot van 900.000 ton kooldioxide per jaar betekent
