Hitte acclimatisatie en de hartslagfrequentie

Hallo. Ik weet dat hitte acclimatisatie o.a. zorgt voor afname in basaal metabolisme, afname in kern- en schiltemperatuur en een verlaging van de zweetdrempel. Echter, blijkbaar daalt de hartslag bij hitte acclimatisatie. Dit lijkt me zeer onlogisch, omdat er door vasodilatatie bij een warmere lichaamstemperatuur meer bloed moet worden rondgepompt. Wat is de reden voor de daling in hartslagfrequentie?

The early adaptations (initial 1-5 days) involve an improved control of cardiovascular function, including expanded plasma volume.

Plasma volume expansion resulting from increased plasma proteins and increased sodium chloride retention, ranges from +3 to +27%, and is accompanied by a 15-25% decrease in heart rate.

Bij een groter effectief circulerend volume hoeft het hart minder vaak te pompen om de bloeddruk op peil te houden.
