Examen engels

Hallo

11. Neem afscheid van je collega.

Ik vroeg me af of iemand mijn gesprekje misschien kan controleren.

Het gesprekje:
1: Ik
2: Leerkracht

1: Hello, My name is ……………. I don’t think I have seen you before… What’s is your name?
2: Hello, My name is ……………..
1: Nice to meet you. How do you do?
2: I’m fine thank you. How are you?
1: I’m fine thank you. I work here at the electrochemical laboratory department. At which department do you work, here?
2: Starting today I will work at the same department as you do. I have a meeting with mister James Peter In a few minutes.
1: So you are our new colleague. I guess we will work together sometime. So what are you going to do here?
2: I will be maintaining the machinery that are used for the analyses. What do you do here?
1: I do a lot of routine work, such as getting the samples ready for analyses and compare the results with the standard tables. If the results are alright I fill them in on the PC. If the Results are less correct I take them to our boss, Mister James Peter, and he had to decide if we redo our analyses or send them to our client. Where have you worked before you came here?
2: I have worked at another company where I did the same. Have you worked long here?
1: I have worked for two years here now and I think I really found my place. I’m satisfied with our workload that we have here.

I have worked before in a supermarket, it was really tough. We had to do a lot and had very little time. Many employees quit, because they couldn’t handle it.
The colleagues are really nice, our boss is not bossy. We are able to get a free day no problem as long as we ask it minimal two weeks before, so yeah it is nice around here.
I will have to go soon, do you think that we could go grab a coffee after work sometime.
2: Yeah, sure.
1: What about meeting this Friday, by the coffee shop at the corner at one o’clock sound to you?
2: Alright, I will see you then.
1: Sure, bye. And good luck at your first day here.
2: Thanks, Bye.

Wat dachten jullie ervan?

Alvast bedankt voor de hulp.

Re: Examen engels

1: Good(morning, …) or: Hello,  (Name and handshake), how do you do.
2: Hello, (name and handshake) how do you do.
1: I can’t recall seeing you before, nice to meet you (or; nice meeting) I work here at the electrochemical laboratory department. Witch department is yours? (or; what is your job around here?) (or; And you?)
2: Starting today, I’ll work at the same department. I have a meeting with mister James Peter In a few minutes.
1: So you are our new colleague. I guess we will work together sometime. So, what are you going to do (or; what  is your job) around here?
2: I’ll keep up the maintenance of the analysis - machinery. And what is your job?
1: My job is routinely, such as getting the samples ready for analyses and then comparing the results with the standard tables. If the results are satisfactory, I list them on the PC. If the Results are doubtful, I take them to our boss, Mister James Peter, and he’ll decide if we have to redo our analyses or either send them to our client. Is this your first job? Do you have any experience in this field?
2: Before, I was employed by another company where I did the same kind of work. For how many time did you do your analyzing around here?
1: I do this kind of work for two years now and I think I really found my place. I’m satisfied with the scheme that we have here.

Before, I worked in a supermarket, it was really a tough job. We had to do a lot of tasks in so short of time. Many employees quit, because they can’t handle the pressure.
The colleagues here are really nice and our boss is not “bossy”. We can easily ask for a free day, no problem, as long as we ask for it, minimal two weeks in advance, so yeah, it is nice around here.
I must go now and you have a meeting with mister Peter, do you think that we could go for a coffee after work sometime?
2: Yeah, sure, it will be my pleasure!
1: What about next Friday, by the coffeeshop on the corner at one o’clock, sound to you?
2: Alright, I will see you then.
1: See you, and good luck!
2: Thanks, Bye.

Re: Examen engels

1: Hello, My name is ……………. I don’t think we've met before… What’sis your name?
2: Hello, My name is ……………..
1: Nice to meet you. How do you do? (spreektaal kan ook: How are you doing?)
2: I’m fine thank you. And yourself?
1: I’m doing great. I am working here at the electrochemical laboratory department. At which department do you work?
2: Starting today, I will be working at the same department as you do. I have a meeting with mister James Peter In a few minutes.
1: So you are our new colleague. I guess we will work together sometime. So what are you going to do here?

1: I do a lot of routine work, such as getting the samples ready for analyses and compare the results with the standard tables. If the results are alright, I enter them on the PC. If the results are iffy I take them to our boss, Mister James Peter, and he will decide if we redo our analyses or send them to our client. Where have you worked before you came here?
2: I have worked at another company where I did the same work. Have you worked here long? (NB - volgorde is altijd MPT, d.w.z. matter - place - time)
1: I have worked here for two years now (MPT) and I think I really found my place. I’m satisfied with our workload (that we have here). - Een van de twee: of our workload; of the workload we have here

I have worked before in a supermarket, it was really tough. We had to do a lot and had very little tim to do it. Many employees quit, because they couldn’t handle it.
The colleagues are really nice, our boss is not bossy. We are able to get a day off without any problem as long as we ask at least two weeks in advance, so yes it is nice around here.

Nope
In "echt Engels", is het antwoord op How do you do, ook How do you do.

Re: Examen engels

En heb ik dat dan niet vermeld?? Of wil je echt beginnen met "how do you do" - "how do you do"?

'around'. Op 1 of andere manier werd mijn opmerking over how do you do daar bij aan gelinkt.
En idd, je had die dubbele how do you do vermeld. Daar had ik over gelezen :-)
