Epicycloide
een epicycloide krijg je als je een cirkel om een andere grotere cirkel laat draaien. Nu heb je de volgende formules voor de coordinaten van een punt die je volgt op de cirkel die draait:
x(theta) = (R+r)cos(thetha) - r cos( R+r/r . thetha)
y(theta) = (R+r)sin(theta) - r sin (R+r/r . theta)
R= de straal van de grote stilstaande cirkel
r = de straal van de draaiende cirkel
theta = de hoek
kan iemand mij deze formules uitleggen en hoe je er aan komt?

x = b cos (f + t)
hoe komen ze hier opeens aan?
In addition the center of Circle B (the point, C) moves counterclockwise with respect to O by angle t, with a radius of (a + b). This is added to the above translation:
x = (a + b) cos t + b cos {[(a + b)/b] t}
y = (a + b) sin t + b sin {[(a + b)/b] t}
hier voegen ze opeens dit deel toe:
(a + b) cos t
hoe komen ze hier aan?
