Zo een vraag kan je ook oplossen met Lagrange.

Op het moment van de botsing gaat m zijn absolute grootte van snelheid bewaren en kan je behoud van energie toepassen bij volledige restitutie. Daaruit kan je dan wel nieuwe beginvoorwaarden berekenen voor de verdere evolutie van het systeem. Dat is allemaal best wel veel werk.

De methode van Hamilton moet waarschijnlijk nog wel efficient gaan met jouw softwarepakket.Maar dan moet ja apart de botsing nog uitwerken. Je zou dan ook een animatie moeten maken om te zien dat het geloofwaardig is.
Alles bij mekaar inclusie de fouten eruit halen (wat altijd de meeste tijd kost) ga je er toch een paar uur in moeten steken denk ik.
